I am thinking... about planning less and enjoying life more.
I am thankful for... my in-laws who kept our kids for a couple nights so that we could celebrate our anniversary at home alone.
I am wearing... brown shorts and a tan tank top.
I am remembering... my wedding day. Joy. Anticipation. HEAT! Storm. Power outage. Tornado. Flooding. But still...GREAT memory!
I am creating... a grocery list (boring, I know).
I am going... to purpose myself to relax and allow God to lead us.
I am reading... .nothing. I need to pay my library fines.
I am hoping... for provision.
On my mind... so much. So, so much.
From the learning rooms... lots of painting and planning for the next school year. Latin maybe?
Noticing that... my husband is the BEST!
From the kitchen... from scratch chicken marsala, roasted garlic mashed red potatoes and honey almond roasted green beans. It was a GREAT anniversary meal!
Around the house... pruning and weeding the gardens needs to be done this week.
One of my favorite things... watching my husband and daughter walk hand-in-hand.
Praying for... the next step of this journey to become clear...and soon.
A Lyric or two... In honor of our 12th wedding anniversary, which was yesterday, this is the song we sang to each other during our wedding ceremony.
I will be an open door that you count on,
Anywhere you are, anywhere you've been.
I will be an honest heart you can depend on
I will be a faithful friend.
A verse to share... Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you. I Peter 5:7
A few plans for the week... piano lesson, watching Red, White and Boom Friday night, the Lincoln Village parade on Saturday, Hilliard fireworks on Sunday and possibly a cook-out with friends.
A picture thought..
