Today, I played up and down with a toddler (you know, when they want you to pick them up and then put them down on their schedule). I held a sweet three month old baby and smelled her soft, fuzzy head. I combed my 9 year old's wet hair. I caressed my 11 year old's forehead as I awoke him from a nap.
These are the best things.
I am convinced of this.
