The Simple Woman's Daybook #68

Outside my window...Indian Summer is visiting.

I am thinking...about doing things better.

I am thankful for... the confidence Ava's dance teacher has in her.

I am wearing...purple and white pajamas.

I am remembering... having lots of friends close by.

I am creating...a prop list, costuming detail list and a cast list for the nativity for the kids' musical.

I am going... to the eye specialist again in the morning. Boo.

I am reading... Everyday with Rachael Ray December edition.

I am hoping... for a break through.

On my mind... how much to reveal, and how much to not.

From the learning rooms...  Abraham, ancient civilizations, air, division, solving for unknown and Thanksgiving crafts because they're just plain fun.

Noticing that... I could be a much better mama these days.

From the kitchen... I'm thinking it's time for oatmeal applebutter bars.

Around the house... someone needs to go through the kids rooms and get rid of stuff. Anyone? Anyone?

One of my favorite things... routine.

Praying for... leadership and security.

A verse to share..."Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up." Galatians 6:9

A few plans for the week... going to the eye specialist, hair cuts, rehearsals, Worship Jam for Lukas, Dancing with the Nutcracker for Ava and I, and Lukas and Eric are off to "Four: The Event" at 4:00 on Nov. 14th for 4 hours at a cost of $4 for 4th graders only. I love all those details. Heehee!
