Ava's Rules

I'm trying to transform my blog to serve a specific purpose or two, but, when it comes right down to it, it's a great place to just write things that I don't want to forget. That's why I started this blog so many years ago.

Recently during Ava's small group time at church, she was challenged to write three rules. She had to write one rule for home, one for church and one for school. Here are her rules.

Home: If we had pets, dogs and cats ONLY. Mom's version: NO pets

Church: ONLY playing in the playplace on Wednesday nights is allowed.  Our church has a McDonald's style playplace, but much larger.

School: ONLY math is allowed.

I just love that she loves math. I hope she keeps that. She sometimes asks to do extra (which is a motivator to complete less-desired subject matter). I love this girl. She was so proud of her rules when she shared them with me. That little grin makes everyday better.
