It has been "one of those days" around here. Ava seemed to be on a one way road to destruction. I'm not exaggerating about this. She was jumping off the stairs, climbing onto the back of the couch and jumping to the floor, hanging on the banister, etc... Plus, I can't forget pushing and hitting her brother, taking his toys, and just being generally unpleasurable to be around.
And now...she is in bed for the night, and I hope she goes to sleep very soon. Naptime was a catastrophe today, but once she fell asleep, she actually slept for 2 hours. I hope that bedtime is better than that.
In other Ava news...we ran out of pull-ups. We only use them at night anyway. She's been fully day-time potty-trained since September, so we have decided that tonight is the night that we're giving overnight training a try. I remember it being so easy with Lukas. He trained completely in a week, but he was older than Ava. She daytime trained in a week, but not during the night.
So...here's to dry beds and better behavior! Of course, I could just go to the store and buy a bag of pull-ups, but we might as well give it a try. We'll let you know how it goes.
